Why Talking to a Stranger Can Be So Healing
(A gentle reflection for anyone curious about the power of being heard)
I offer one-to-one counselling for adults seeking a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
Whether you’re going through a life transition, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or exploring deeper questions of identity and purpose, therapy can help you make sense of your experience and move forward with greater clarity and compassion.
As an Integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs — drawing from a range of approaches including humanistic, Gestalt, relational, and psychodynamic theories. Our work will unfold at your pace, with a strong focus on building safety, trust, and a real connection between us.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on what feels most supportive for you.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some of the areas I frequently support clients with include:
LGBTQ+ identity and wellbeing
Gender, sex and relationship diversity (GSRD)
Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
Self-esteem, self-worth, and confidence
Grief, loss, and life transitions
Inner child work and early attachment wounds
Identity exploration and meaning-making
Relationship patterns and interpersonal challenges
Whether you have a specific issue you’d like to work on or a general sense that something’s “not quite right,” therapy can be a powerful space to explore what’s going on and what you need.
Therapy is your space — to slow down, to be curious, and to feel. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal to begin. Whatever brings you here, I’ll meet you with care, empathy, and a genuine interest in who you are.
I offer therapy exclusively online, providing you with the convenience and flexibility to access professional support from the comfort of your home.
With secure and confidential virtual sessions, you’ll receive personalised, high-quality care tailored to your unique needs.
Let’s start with a free 30 minute initial consultation to explore how I can support you on your journey.
Counselling with me isn’t about offering quick fixes or advice—it’s about empowering you to take charge of your life.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step — especially if you’re not quite sure what to expect. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and free to be exactly where you are.
You can expect to be met with warmth, openness, and curiosity. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome — the confident parts, the uncertain parts, the parts you might feel you’ve had to hide. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear goal to begin. Just showing up is enough.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I won’t sit in silence or offer quick fixes — instead, I’ll be alongside you as we explore your experiences together. I may gently reflect patterns I notice, offer tools or perspectives, or simply hold space as you move through difficult emotions. You set the pace, and I’ll walk with you.
Each session is led by what you bring. Some days, that might be something specific — a challenge you’re facing, a decision you’re struggling with. Other times, it might be a feeling you can’t quite name or a sense that something’s out of place. We’ll work together to make sense of whatever is coming up for you.
Therapy with me often includes deep, reflective work — whether that’s exploring early experiences, reconnecting with your inner child, or unpacking the messages you’ve internalised over time. While this can be challenging, we’ll go at a pace that feels safe. There’s no pressure to “go deep” before you're ready.
People often say that therapy with me feels real, grounded, and emotionally attuned. I bring myself into the work — with presence, care, and a belief in the power of human connection. You’ll never be treated as a problem to be solved, but as a whole person with stories, needs, and strengths.
